Sleeping With the Enemy

Our cat, Kittens/Kitanos/Commisioner Gordon (sorry, he can't seem to just keep one name), has a complicated relationship with one of our dog's toy's, Mr. Man.

During most of the day, Kittens and Mr. Man are enmeshed in a neverending battle.  Kittens continually beats up on Mr. Man, carrying him from room to room in his mouth - only pausing to take nap breaks.

But at night, Kittens pulls Mr. Man into the bed, to sleep next to him.  It's just too effin cute not to mention here.

Perhaps you have heard of the Golden Retriever Woobie? It is a beloved toy that alternates between being dental floss and a security blanket. It is destroyed and protected lovingly in alternating fashion. IIt can also hold up to several ounces of slobber due to being carried in said Golden's mouth constantly. I think what you have here is a very evolved cat... who has a cat woobie.

haha. clearly he IS an evolved cat. I'm not sure what that says about my dog, who has no such woobie.

That's effin hillarious! Our cat furby has some weird behaviors like that. Why can't u make up a name?

well we picked a name originally, Commissioner Gordon, but it just didn't stick. Steve would call him Kittens all the time and that just stuck for some reason. And Kitanos.. I don't even know where that came from. It's his Hawaiian name, I guess.
